Consultation/Negotiation on Price/Agreement

Here is where we come into a contractual agreement on the cost of creating the website, and of course the timeline. This can either be done via Audio Zoom, Audio WhatsApp or Email. We will discuss in detail your requirements, and understand what your vision is. Do not worry, we are cheap because we love doing what we do! Once the work contract has been signed off via email, we will send you a payment link to pay us 50% of the Work Order to help us get started. The other 50% must be paid when the work has been completed and delivered safely to you.

We will use PayPal for the transaction. But if you prefer a different method via card, we are ok with that too.

We need YOU to complete the 6 important steps stated below to start the ball rolling. Don't feel overwhelmed, we will guide you each step of the way! If you still feel like you can't do it, no worries, we'll put our heads together and find a way to complete the steps for you!

01.

Domain

The first step to creating a website is to obtain a Domain. This can be easily bought at Namecheap, GoDaddy, Hostinger and many other providers. If you already have one, that’s absolutely great!

We do recommend Namecheap from personal experience, it’s as cheap as its name!

02.

Hosting

The second step is of course Hosting! If you already have one, brillaint! If not, you can easily get one at any of the leading hosting providers like Namecheap, GoDaddy, Hostinger, Wix and many more.

We recommend Hostinger, very cheap and can host more than 1 website in one plan.

If you need help with this, we have an option where you can piggyback on our hosting plan for a minimal £1.00 per month. Once the website is completed, you will leave the nest and venture on your own hosting!

03.

SSL Certificate for your Domain

An SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Certificate is amust for every website security identity. It is the ‘s’ for ‘secure’ in https://yourwebsite.com. It is a security protocol that creates an encrypted link between a web server and a web browser.

The SSL certificates secure online transactions and keep customer information private and secure.

SSL keeps internet connections secure and prevents criminals from reading or modifying information transferred between two systems. When you see a padlock icon next to the URL in the address bar, that means SSL protects the website you are visiting.

Normally all hosting services provide free SSL for your domain.

04.

WordPress

We work with WordPress only for the time being.

Once Steps 1-3 have been completed, you need to go to your hosting provider and get the WordPress activated. You would need to sign up for it with an email address and password.

If you need help with this step, we can assist you, but you would need to give us access to your hosting account. Some hosting provider do let you add users who will design your website.

Every hosting provider has customer support that you could contact and they might even help you through it.

05.

The Beginning!

This is the last step on your part!

Once you get the admin login details and password of the WordPress platform (it is usually in this format https://site.com/wp-admin), you can then add us to your user list as 2nd Admin so that we can start building your site.

At this stage, we will need you to provide us answers on the following questions?

How many Pages does your website need?
Do you have any design ideas that you would want your website to look?
Plus other more questions that will be coordinating throughout the design process.

06.

Documents/Images

This step is usually needed at a later stage, but it’s always okay to be prepared and know what’s coming!

We would communicate with you via email whenever we need any documents or images from you.

Documents implies important legal content relating to your website like the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, or any other that may be needed for your particular niche.

Images implies any pictures that corelates with your website and intentions.

If you need help with the document contents, you can access our services ‘Content Writing‘ and we can negotiate the price.

The 6 Steps may be daunting but they are important to get the ball rolling.

But fear not, if this is something you would like us to help, we would be glad to give you free assistance for Step 1 – 5. All you have to do is contact us at support@zetteck.com with email Subject > ‘Help with 5 Steps to Create Website‘ and we will coordinate via email or, audio connect via Zoom or WhatsApp whichever you prefer.

Unfortunately, due to cost of resources, Step 6 is chargeable and falls under ‘Content Writing‘.

What we will do...

We will take the following steps towards building your site

To complete a unique website, we will take onboard your input and vision

01.

Blank Canvas

Once we have been added as an Admin in the Website WordPress, we will roll up our sleeves and get to work putting up the pillars and post to hold up the structure of your website.

We will also download the necessary plugins which are the backbone to the outlook of your website.

There may be plugins that you might need to buy, but we will try our best to go with the free versions as long as we could.

Please note that to complete a robust and unique website, we require a timeline of 3-5 months.

02.

Sculpting and Shaping

This stage is the most important part. Once we have the tools from Step 01, we will use them to our advantage in Step 02, to sculpt, shape, manoeuvre, design, add colors, create beauty and practicality, much like a painter!

We will be coordinating with you throughout the journey to get your input and vision. There would be days when we are quiet, do not fret, but know that we are hard at work and burning the midnight oil!

Remember we need to contact you in relation to ‘What we need from you Step 6′ relating to documents and images.

03.

Integration

This is a very important stage. Integration normally relates to connecting your website to payment gateways. This will determine how you get paid for your business.

We will guide you in creating a Stripe Account, a PayPal Account. Being a sensitive step, we prefer that you do it yourself while we verbally guide you via audio calls. Opening a stripe and paypal account is not so difficult, so please do not feel discouraged.

Once these have been completed, we would guide you to put the API keys in the right place on your website to set it all up.

04.

Proof-Reading

At this stage, the website is almost complete. We will coordinate with you to go through and check the whole website. You will need to tell us what you like and what you dislike, any changes you need us to do, anything you need us to add.

We will go to the next step only when we get the all-clear from you.

05.

Testing

This stage is amust. It is where we will test-drive the website, send emails, do test purchase, register as a new user to see the website from the prospective of a buyer or subscriber/member.

There may appear changes we need to make, or add or amend.

We need to test it on an iPhone, Samsung and iPad.

We will also encourage you to try from your phone or laptop as a customer, so that you too can see and note anything that we may need to add or amend.

06.

Final

Once the testing stage has been completed, we will send you the final invoice for 50% payment.

At this stage, you also need to find a new hosting provider if you are using the ‘piggback’ hosting plan with us. If you already using your own hosting, please ignore this.

Once all the above is completed smoothly, we hand over everything, the website, the files we created, give you a tour of the features of the dashboard and what you need to do to maintain the website, and we then bid you adieu!
